Clearing and planting new fruit trees

Two days of work in the fruit-tree zone. We started by loading the trees into the jeep to bring them up to the farm, then cleared and cut back part of the plot where the farm’s fruit trees are being established. With the ground ready, we planted one caimo, one caimito, one mango tree, 4 guamos and 4 papayas. Both workdays began with mist covering the mountains before sunrise, the usual backdrop for these planting days.
